HARRISBURG, PA (June 21, 2005)--Technical Satellite Repair, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of VAC Service Corp., is expanding its satellite receiver repair and refurbishing services to include warranty repair services for a wide range of electronics products offered by manufacturers, including Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs), plasma televisions, DVD players, and more, it was announced by Charlie Romano, TSR president.

"TSR is expanding its focus beyond satellite-related product that is compatible with traditional program providers. We have initiated a strategy to branch out into other consumer electronic markets. As an example, TSR was recently selected to become a repair depot for OEMs manufacturing HDTV LCD flat screen televisions, and will perform in a like manner for ethnic television program providers in the satellite industry.

"In addition," Romano said, "we are targeting manufacturers and importers who have a need for comprehensive repair and fulfillment solutions that can be tailored to meet their specific needs. This would include clients who have a need for some, but not every aspect of the programs we have historically offered. By offering our clients customizable programs, we actually are helping them to better control their costs by eliminating those steps that are not needed or desired, which would cause them to exceed their targeted price points if forced to take an off-the-shelf pre-packaged design."

TSR, of course, will continue to offer repair, warehousing, and fulfillment services for the satellite product that the company is today known throughout the industry for, building on a solid customer base and expanding this segment. As the company diversifies and matures, however, it's goal is to make this a much smaller percentage of its overall business.
